Twister, 1996 ★★★★☆

Although I watched this movie the first time when it first came out, I was in India and had no idea of what a tornado was. But it had freaked me out, flying cow and all. I love this movie as pure “time pass” and love that it’s basically a race between two teams of scientists to collect data in a field experiment. Add a dollop of rekindled love story, teamwork, and grandma in distress, and you’ve a winner. Of course, a tornado destroying a drive-in theater’s screen helps too.
