The Lady Vanishes, 1938 ★★★★☆

A typical Hitchcockian thriller that starts in a seemingly mundane train delay, leads to a lady vanishing on the train noticed by only one person, and (the story) ends up elsewhere. Dialogue is snappy and even funny in parts.
